Choose the first priority together.
Start with the homeowner’s own priorities. It might be a shower that feels awkward, stairs without enough support or a doorway that is hard to manage. We discuss the work area, any equipment recommendations and what information is needed for a quote.

Bring an existing recommendation.
If an occupational therapist or care team has given you a written equipment or installation recommendation, share the relevant details. We can discuss feasibility and any questions that need to go back to the person who made the recommendation.
You do not need to send us private medical records. Product, placement and installation requirements are usually the useful starting information.
Agree the work before it starts.
The quote should state the tasks, equipment, materials, any travel cost and whether another assessment or trade is needed. If several changes are planned, ask for a breakdown so you can decide what to do first.

No. Stayscape’s planning discussion concerns installation and home changes. For clinical assessment, equipment selection or advice about transfers and mobility, involve an occupational therapist or the relevant care professional.
Can you speak with my adult children?
Yes, with your agreement. We can include the people helping you arrange the work while keeping you involved in decisions about your home.
Can the work happen in stages?
Yes. Ask for the tasks to be broken out in the quote so you can choose the work to arrange first. Feasibility and sequencing depend on the project.
